NICOLE Godden got a surprise when she recently joined Casey RACE.
The Cranbourne resident discovered she was the 2000th member to join the $37.9 million aquatic and leisure centre since it opened in June.
Mrs Godden won a session with a personal trainer and said becoming member 2000 was a nice surprise.
“I’ve never won anything in my life,” she said.
YMCA branch manager at Casey RACE, Mark Arneil, said reaching 2000 members at this time exceeded expectations.
Mrs Godden’s husband and three sons have also joined, along with her parents, sister and auntie.
“It’s great. It is a really good set up and we have used it quite a few times, mostly on weekends,” Mrs Godden said.
