The store manager of the Hungry Jack’s on South Gippsland Highway in Cranbourne has been threatened by two thieves wielding machetes in the early hours on Monday 30 January.
About 4.15am, two men wearing balaclavas used a large brick to smash the front window of the store and unlock the door to gain entry to the building.
They then proceeded to jump the counter of the store and threaten the store manager with machetes while he opened the safe for them.
The two robbers made away on foot towards Thompsons Road with about $3000 in cash.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
