A GROUP formed to rally against a controversial State Government land tax will meet for the last time before legislation goes through Parliament.
Taxed Out will host a public meeting tonight at the Oakwood Riding School in Clyde.
Under the Growth Areas Infrastructure Charge (GAIC) scheme, those brought within the Urban Growth Boundary in 2009 will have to pay $95,000 per hectare in tax when they sell their property. The meeting starts at 7.30pm. For details call Michael Hocking on 0400 248 099 or at michael@handm.com.au
