THE Dandenong-Cranbourne RSL hosted a Remembrance Day service at the epitaph on High Street Cranbourne on 11 November, with many members of the community gathered to honour those who had fallen in war.
The service was led by the Dandenong – Cranbourne RSL sub-branch vice-president Bill Sheppard and attended by City of Casey councillors, Federal Member for Holt Anthony Byrne, as well as many members of the community and local school groups.
Wreaths were laid and silence observed to remember and give thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and reflect on the 98th Anniversary of the end of Wold War I.
Star News journalist Victoria Stone-Meadows went along to the remembrance service to reflect on those that served and to document the day.
