A DISPUTE over bread led to the stabbing of a Hampton Park baker on the weekend.
A 42yearold Hampton Park man received multiple lacerations to the chin after he was attacked by a rival baker about 11.15am on Sunday.
It is believed the stabbing occurred following an argument over the baking of bread. The man’s chin was sliced open with a 75centimetre serrated bread knife before the rival baker fled on foot.
A 36yearold Endeavour Hills man has been released on summons and is expected to be charged with assault causing serious injury.
