By Victoria Stone-Meadows

TWO teenagers and an 18-year-old man from Clyde North have been arrested following a spate of robberies, thefts and assaults across Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
The three were arrested and charged with offences including armed robbery, robbery, theft, assault and assault with weapon, about 7pm on Monday 7 November.
Police were called to a tobacconist about 5pm – shortly after it was robbed – and followed the trail to Plowman Court in Epping where they arrested the youths.
The three were found with a BMW alleged to have been stolen during a car-jacking in Brunswick on Saturday 5 Novemeber and believed to be involved in an armed robbery on Millar Street in Thornbury.
The two younger teens were remanded in custody to appear at the children’s court while the Clyde North man was remanded to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 17 February.
