Car in flames

By Victoria Stone-Meadows

A MOTORIST’S worst nightmare became a reality for one very unlucky driver on the Berwick-Cranbourne Road early on the morning of Sunday 30 October.
The male driver parked his car on the south side of the road, between Thompsons Road and Glasscocks Road, about 1.30am, after one of the tyres went flat.
The driver went in search of a replacement tyre for the car but upon returning less than an hour late found the red Subaru Liberty had been set alight.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen what happened to contact the Casey Crime Investigation Unit on 9705 3111 or make a confidential report at www.crimestoppers.com.au
