Trampoline tossed into another yard

By Lia Bichel
A TRAMPOLINE was hurled into a neighbouring yard during a storm, which swept through Cranbourne North early Monday morning.
Jennifer Lovett woke up to find that her 14-foot trampoline, which was a gift to her four children last Christmas, was missing.
“We have little chickens in our yard and we (husband Jason) wanted to make sure they were okay because it was their first night out, and I noticed something was missing,” Ms Lovett said.
“I was flabbergasted. It was my kids’ favourite toy, and it was my son’s fifth birthday the next day.” Ms Lovett door-knocked around her street, searching for clues about the whereabouts of the trampoline. At about 5pm, a neighbour, three doors down from the Lovett’s, phoned and said they had found the trampoline in their garden.
“It was the best possible scenario,” Ms Lovett said.
“We haven’t had time to pick it up yet, but I took a look, and it’s a mangled mess.”
