AN 18-YEAR-OLD Myrniong man was taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after being stabbed in the back in Cranbourne.
At 2.25 am on 26 July, advanced life support paramedics from Cranbourne and intensive care paramedics from Hampton Park were called to the corner of Camms Road and South Gippsland Highway.
Paramedic James Bailey said they arrived at the scene within five minutes.
“The 18-year-old man was involved in an alleged fight which had resulted in him being stabbed,” he said.
“One of the man’s friends was applying pressure to the wound. We dressed the wound with a pad and bandage and gave him oxygen to help his breathing.”
The man was taken to The Alfred hospital in a stable condition.
