PARAMEDICS treated a 40-year-old woman after she fell off a horse and hit her head in Cranbourne South last week.
Paramedics from Cranbourne attended the scene at the corner of Homewood Road and Western Port Highway about 2pm on 15 July.
Paramedic Ewan Humphrey said they arrived within minutes to discover the woman had a head injury.
“The 40-year-old was riding her horse with her daughter when it was spooked and she fell onto the track,” Mr Humphrey said.
“She hit her head on the hard sand track causing her to briefly lose consciousness.”
Mr Humphrey said the woman was dazed and confused and unable to remember what happened.
She was fitted with a neck brace and taken to The Alfred hospital.
