Woman dies in traffic accident

A PEDESTRIAN has died after an accident on Sladen Street, Cranbourne.
Police have put out a call for public assistance to identify the woman who was struck by a truck near the Fairbairn Road intersection about 1.30am on 15 September.
The woman is believed to have entered the north side of Sladen Street near Valepark Crescent.
She was described as Caucasian, aged in her early 30s, wearing a green top, size-10 grey tracksuit pants and grey and black Nike Flywire runners.
The 22-year-old man driving the east-bound truck stopped immediately to assist the woman.
