Keep valuables out of sight

POLICE are urging motorists to ensure valuables are out of sight in their cars.
Police said theft from motor cars continued to be a problem in the City of Casey.
They said it did not matter if a car was locked, any visible items could be stolen.
The most common item stolen was GPS devices and also laptop computers and tools.
“If a GPS is on the front windscreen, it will get stolen,” Leading Senior Constable Cynthia Cameron said.
