Home invasion and foot chase

FIRST came the home invasion and then came the police foot chase.
An alleged Casey crook was caught by police after trying to flee the scene of a car accident, where the offender came off second-best to a power pole.
A home was invaded on Sunday 24 July about 3.25am in Cranbourne North, and a set of car keys stolen.
Police later observed the stolen car on the South Gippsland Highway in Dandenong South, before the driver lost control and collided with a power pole.
He was then pursued by police as he tried to escape the scene.
He was arrested and taken to the Cranbourne Police Station and remanded in custody, due to face court.
