Nitro bike is back

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

SOME alleged thieves from Hampton Park know quality, but the long arm of the law has brought Nitro Circus star, Cameron Sinclair’s bike back to him.
Three custom-made motorcycles designed for use in Cameron’s aerial performances with global sensation, Nitro Circus, were stolen from his Cranbourne South property in April this year.
The crooks jumped onto the roof of Cameron’s shed and cut a hole in it to gain entry. They then escaped on the distinct bikes, worth upwards of $12,000.
More than two months on, one of Cameron’s bikes was allegedly found at a Hampton Park address, after police executed a search warrant on Friday 15 July.
Narre Warren Detective Rob Clark said investigators recovered the motorbike along with a number of other items related to a spate of burglaries in the Casey and Greater Dandenong areas.
“A 29-year-old Hampton Park man and 24-year-old Hallam man were arrested and charged at the property,” Det Clark said.
The pair were bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court.
