Failed bid to steal home cars

A HOME invasion went wrong in Pearcedale after the occupant disturbed the intruders who were about to steal their two cars.
The aggravated burglary took a turn in the home owner’s favour about 12.10am on Friday 24 June.
The burglars gained access to the Evans Street property through an unlocked door and stole two sets of car keys.
They made it inside both cars before they were disturbed and decided to flee the scene in their own car.
Police do not have a description of the car they escaped in.
