CASEY artists of all kinds could be the next Lindsay King Arts Award recipient.
Nominations are open for this year’s award which aims to recognise those who contribute to developing and supporting the arts in Casey.
City of Casey Mayor Sam Aziz said the award was Casey’s most “prestigious individual honour” for the arts and encouraged people to get nominating.
“Established in 2007, this award was introduced to recognise people whose initiatives have made a significant contribution to the arts in Casey,” Cr Aziz said.
“The award was named after Cranbourne resident Lindsay King who made a substantial contribution to the arts in Casey through his passion for local history, tourism, arts and culture.”
Nominations for the 2016 Lindsay King Arts Award close on Sunday 17 July 2016.
