CFA fireys hit again

IT’S another blow for CFA fireys, as police make public the theft of a service station CFA donation box.
It took nine days to notice the theft of the box from Baxter, but police have released CCTV images in the hope that someone will come forward with information.
A man entered the service station located off Peninsula Link on Sunday 15 May and walked off with the donation box which contained cash about 4.25am.
The theft was not noticed until nine days later, when someone came to collect the donations.
The offender left the service station in a white Mitsubishi Lancer and is perceived to be Caucasian, aged in his mid-thirties, about 185cm tall and of medium build.
He was wearing a black cap, black tracksuit pants and white runners.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to submit confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
