Ram raid, dog chase

A BOTCHED ram raid attempt left the frontage of a Lynbrook store smashed and a car wedged on a steel bollard.
Police were called to the AMX Superstore on the South Gippsland Highway, about 2.30am on Monday 18 April.
The offender rammed the shopfront in a GMC utility, with stolen number plates, but failed to gain entry.
Police set a tracking dog after the escapee who fled the scene on foot, however the man was not caught.
Narre Warren police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
