AS THE nation poured and flipped on National Pancake Day, students at Lynbrook Primary School also got on board raising more than $1000 for UnitingCare.
It was a first time event for the primary school in what is an annual fundraising day for people living in crisis.
The money raised will go toward helping those who are homelessness, suffering from domestic violence, addictions or financial hardship.
Grade four co-ordinator Rebekah Bogos said the school was proud to assist UnitingCare “and call on everyone in our community to enjoy a pancake (or two) and get behind this fantastic cause”.
