I am not surprised and I expected the Casey council to apply for a rate rise above CPI.
If you travel down Clyde Road you can see many new housing estates being built by developers.
I expect the developers are paying council some sort of fee and if so how much?
And where is that money going to?
So just because houses are going up quicker than I can blink why are council in such a hurry to build new sporting grounds?
I think Casey council needs to do an audit on all of our grounds to see what percentage they are being used.
Are council also aware that in April health cover is to go up yet again putting a strain on the family budget.
Putting our hands in our pockets has to stop.
