LEGISLATION controlling alcohol advertising is a positive move that will reduce alcohol consumption.
Any small thing that can be done is worthwhile doing to lower alcohol abuse.
We are aware that alcohol is a revenue maker for the government but it is much more practical to reduce alcohol consumption and not encourage it as advertising does.
Reducing alcohol advertising is an obvious way to reduce alcohol consumption for many reasons eg family violence, road accidents, health care, hoon drivers etc.
