CHRISTMAS came early at the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens last week.
The Cranbourne Community Mental Health service held its Christmas barbecue lunch last Thursday 10 December, which included performances from a group of Berwick Church of Christ musicians, as well as a special visit from Santa Claus.
Mental health clinician Heather Mikronis said the event was a great success.
“Our clients were also delighted to receive a small gift each which was made possible through the fund-raising efforts of staff and clients of the Cranbourne Continuing Care team who have hosted several barbecues and cake stalls over the last few weeks – a real team effort and great community spirit!” she said.
“Monash Health is proud to be able to support events such as this which provides the opportunity for clients, their carers and staff to come together to celebrate this special time of year and to acknowledge all the hard work and achievements that have been made during the past year.”
