PREPS at Kilberry Valley Primary School invited some very special friends to school last week.
The 106 prep students hosted their grandparents, aunts, uncles and other friends for a morning in the classroom last Thursday as part of Special People’s Day. Publicity officer Christine Turner said the morning was a huge success.
“The feedback from the visitors was that it was great to see their grandchild or friend in action and in their classroom, which was great to hear,” she said.
“There were plenty of smiles.”
Ms Turner said the students had their photo taken with their friend and made a photo frame they decorated and wrote on.
“The students showed their visitor their writing skills and how they were progressing with their fine motor skills when they were cutting and pasting.”
