Class joins the generations

A cuddle with nan, Luke, 6, invited his grandmother Pam Jemson to school for afternoon tea.

LOLLY filled teacups were on the menu at Lynbrook Primary School as 160 prep students celebrated Grandparents’ Day.
The prep students invited their beloved grandparents for an afternoon tea party, a story and a cup of lollies.
The school’s Rebekah Bogos said the students made the tea cups out of tic toc biscuits, marshmallows, musk lifesavers and chocolate freckles “and they were enjoyed by all”, she said.
“Grandparents got to look through the children’s work and were proud of the pleasing progress they have made during their first year of primary school.”
