Machete wielded, cash robbed

A MAN wielding a machete has stormed a newsagency in Cranbourne, stealing cash before fleeing the High Street store on Monday 5 October.
About 6.20am, the man entered the newsagency where two staff members and a member of the public were inside but no one was injured in the incident.
An amount of money was stolen before the man, described as Caucasian, wearing a grey hooded top fled the premises on foot.
Police are currently investigating the armed robbery and anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
