A CAR was set alight in Lynbrook over the weekend.
A 1998 Mazda Sedan was deliberately set on fire at the intersection of Northey Road and the South Gippsland Highway just after 4am.
Police suspect the arsonists tried to steal the car but were unsuccessful.
