DETECTIVES are looking for a man, armed with a baseball bat, who robbed Cranbourne Subway last week.
The man entered the store, on the corner of High and Station streets, via the rear door just after 10pm on 7 January and stole cash and “rifled through” staff members’ belongings, police said.
He approached staff and demanded cash from the till, police said.
It is believed the man entered the store at 9.45pm the same night and asked staff members what time the store closed.
Police are looking for a man who is described as Caucasian, between 25 and 30 years, 183cm tall, unshaven with dirty, matted hair.
He wore a grey hooded windcheater with a Champion brand logo, dark blue black pants and white runners.
Police have released security footage of a man they would like to speak to about the robbery.
Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
