Young leaders

CRANBOURNE students were among 40 young people from the Holt region who were recognised at the 2008 Community Spirit and Leadership Awards ceremony in December.
The awards, hosted by Holt MP Anthony Byrne, were held to celebrate the valuable contribution, hard work and dedication young people had made within the local and school communities.
Brittany McDonald, Nicholas Johnson, Neriza Gunawan, Stacey Sewell and Niklas Kreher were the Cranbourne students who received an award.
Mr Byrne said it was a great opportunity to celebrate and say thank you to the young people who volunteer their time assisting others. “I’m always amazed by the time and effort people give to help others and it was wonderful to see so many young people from across Holt receiving awards.”
