SATURDAY’S RVBA pennant match saw Cranbourne RSL Bowling Club defeat Parkdale by 33 shots to regain top spot on the section-seven ladder.
Several players contributed to the win in a good team performance.
Cranbourne RSL meets Moorabbin this week in the match of the round.
Coaches’ award: Darryl Woods (three votes), Gary Bright (two), Bill Bradbury (one).
Scores: Cranbourne RSL 119 d Parkdale 86. Darryl Wood’s rink 32-21; Mal Watkinson’s rink 31-27; Greg Dore’s rink 37-16; Neil Drummond’s rink 19-23.
Pakenham celebrated a 61-shot win over Cranbourne RSL (2) on Saturday.
Two of Cranbourne RSL’s rinks tried valiantly to gain the points, but Pakenham proved too good.
Scores: Pakenham 129 d Cranbourne RSL 68. Gary Lacey’s rink 20-21, Lindsay Coates rink 22-19, Jack Hosie’s rink 15-31, Bob Preston’s rink 14-58.

The club is hosting a send-off for Darryl on Friday, 21 November from 7pm. All welcome.
