Gratitude in store

I wish to express my thanks and appreciation to Colin Penny, store manager of Woolworths, corner Thompson Road and South Gippsland Highway, for allowing the Ladies Guild of St John’s Anglican Church to have a cake stall inside the store on the first Saturday every second month.
Over the last 12 months money raised at the stall has helped purchase a fit out for the newly renovated St John’s Community Hall.
This has been achieved without the burden being carried by hall users.
We have enjoyed good relations with both staff and customers who look forward to opportunities to purchase our home cooked cakes, slices and jams.
Dianne Mitchell,
St John’s Anglican Church,
Cranbourne.
