ALL the mums at Lynbrook Primary School were invited to a breakfast feast for an early celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday 10 May.
With about 960 students, the gym was full of happy families enjoying tea and coffee, toast and special goodies.
Science teacher Clayton Edwards said the morning aimed to acknowledge female role models.
“It’s about recognising the contribution to their lives and how important and vital mums, grandmas and big sisters are.
“It’s so the students can say thank you to their parents in a public way and we have pancakes and mums to get together and spend time with their kids,” he said.
The whole school event took place in the gym where students had been busy baking and making art and craft gifts for their mums.
