Sisters save the day

CRANBOURNE sisters, aged 9 and 6 years old, are Junior Triple Zero Heroes after helping their mum through a medical emergency.
Chantel Thompson called triple-zero (000) when her mum required an ambulance after experiencing breathing difficulties and chest pains.
Chantel answered all of the triple-zero operator’s questions to provide the best possible information for paramedics, while younger sister Taylor helped to unlock the door for the ambulance crew.
The triple-zero operator said the sisters did a fantastic job and expressed how proud she was of the girls.
Chantel and Taylor were presented with their Junior Triple Zero Hero awards at a ceremony on Wednesday 13 May by the Emergency Services Minister Jane Garrett and guest presenter, comedian Dave Hughes.
