A LOT has changed at Timbarra Junior Football Club throughout its six seasons in the South East Juniors, but there has been one constant knocking off game-after-game in pursuit of the Tornados’ first major milestone. Since the club’s inception – and the Tornados’ nomadic existence before Timbarra Reserve was completed in 2013 – Connor Olsson has been pulling on the boots and playing his part in Timbarra teams. This weekend was his time to be congratulated though as the young Tornados spearhead ran out for his 100th match – the first time a Timbarra player has reached the milestone. He’s been an important part of the purple-and-gold brigade since the first South East Juniors season in 2009 and has taken his career from under-9s all the way through to under-14s. sadly Timbarra under-14s weren’t able to make it a magic milestone for Olsson – Berwick Springs spoiled the party knocking off the Tornados by 44 points. 138562 Picture: SUPPLIED
