Suspicious fire probed

POLICE believe a fire in Clyde North last weekend which burnt more than half an acre of land was deliberately lit.
The fire between Soldiers Road and Pound Road started just before 3pm on Saturday 21 March.
CFA crews attended and extinguished the fire and managed to contain it before it reached any houses.
The burnt out area backs on to residential addresses and there were no witnesses.
Police said a declared fire period was still in force and believed the blaze was suspicious.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
