Complete medical care

CRANBOURNE’S Thompson Road Clinic has been providing comprehensive allied health and specialist care since 1987. The health care centre is a one-stop shop, according to Dr Leon Shapero, who has worked in Cranbourne for 28 years.
With a team of 10 experienced general practitioners, the centre provides family medical care, women’s health care, pregnancy care, work cover injuries, acupuncture, childhood immunisations, travel advice, pre-employment medicals, aviation medicals, asthma care and education and wound and fracture management.
The complete nature of the centre means all services are provided on site, while the general practice service and in-house pharmacy is open seven days a week.
“We offer pharmacy, radiology, pathology, physiotherapy, podiatry, psychology, audiology, dietician, diabetic education and mental health nursing,” Dr Shapero said, along with a range of specialist consulting services and minor surgeries including vasectomies, circumcisions, IVD’s, skin cancers and mole mapping.
“The centre is easily accessible with convenient parking. Some managers, reception and nursing staff have been working at the clinic for 20 years,” he said.
With an emphasis on quality professional service and respect for their clients, the long standing health care centre can also help in a crisis with its five-bed emergency room on site.
The Thompson Road Clinic on the corner of Thompson Road and Woodbine Road, Cranbourne North, can be contacted on 5996 9000.
