THE youngest students at Lynbrook Primary School raised money for a much needed cause last week.
In honour of Uniting Care Pancake Day, the preps raised more than $100 for those less fortunate than themselves on Tuesday 17 February.
Around 160 children from across eight foundation classes (Preps) cooked up a storm and donated a gold coin which will go towards Uniting Care.
Teacher Rebekah Booth said the children loved the novelty of it all.
“The children enjoyed watching the pancakes bubble and flipping them as they turned golden brown,” she said.
“Eating them was their favourite part.”
