CRANBOURNE pre-schoolers enjoyed a slippery start to the day on Tuesday when snake handler Raymond from Snake Busters visited the centre.
More than 28 four-year-old children spent an hour touching, holding and learning about snakes, baby crocodiles, frogs, lizards and turtles.
Cranbourne Preschool teacher Catherine Scicluna said some of the parents were scared of the animals, while the kids watched in awe.
“The parents helped pass around the snakes. The kids loved the interactive show,” she said.
Ms Scicluna said the pre-school had between three and four incursions a year.
