College expands over decades

IN 1978, St Francis Xavier College opened its doors to the first intake of 75 students. Today, the college has grown into a three-campus educational institution with a combined enrolment of over 2500 students, a staff of over 300 and extensive state-of-the-art buildings.
As a Catholic regional college, St Francis Xavier College provides secondary education for students in the 10 surrounding parish primary schools. They are St Michael’s Berwick, St Catherine’s Berwick, St Brigid’s Officer, Don Bosco Narre Warren, Mary MacKillop Narre Warren, Trinity Narre Warren South, St John’s Kooweerup, St James Nar Nar Goon, St Patrick’s Pakenham and St Clare’s Officer.
St Francis Xavier College also welcomes applications from students attending all local primary schools as per their enrolment policy.
The 2016 Year 7 information evening will be held at the St Francis Xavier College Hall at the Beaconsfield Campus on Wednesday 25 February 2015, commencing at 7.30pm. This meeting will include information for both the Berwick and Officer campuses.
Tours of the college will be conducted at each of the three campuses, prior to the meeting, departing from outside reception at 5.30pm, 5.45pm, 6pm, 6.15pm and 6.30pm. Effective planning for 2016 makes it essential that applications be submitted by Friday 27 February, 2015.
