Man injured in gang attack

A PEARCEDALE man suffered head injuries after being hit with a metal pinchbar at a Pearcedale milk bar.
The 24yearold was taken to the Frankston Hospital after he was attacked by a group of youths outside the Larnach Road store at about 10.30pm on Friday, 15 July.
Police said the victim was approached by the group and after a brief argument was punched by two men. Another man then took to him with the tyre lever and fled.
The victim received nine stitches to his head.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack.
