Money stolen from Tabaret

POLICE are on the hunt for four thieves who stole what police would only describe as a large amount of money from Cranbourne’s Trios Tabaret last Wednesday night.
Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Gaskin said the raiders were playing the the poker machines for about half an hour before one of the raiders approached the cashier, while the other three suspects left the premises.
Police said the offender reached over the counter and placed the large amount of cash in his cap.
The offender then fled the scene and was chased by security.
Det Sen Sgt Gaskin said the offender was picked up by the other three suspects in a dark Green Mitsubishi Triton ute.
Manager of Trios Brian Asley refused to comment when contacted by the News.
Police are urging anyone with information to please contact Det Sen Sgt Steve Gaskin at Narre Warren police on 9705 3111.
