TWO men have been charged with drug trafficking, after police saw a drug deal take place in Cockatoo.
Leading Senior Constable Richard Murphy said police saw the drug deal take place and arrested one male, before arresting two others down the road for trafficking ice (methamphetamine).
Ldg Sen Const Murphy said that the three men, a 19-year-old from Gembrook, a 19-year-old from Cockatoo and a 22-year-old from Lysterfield were interviewed by police and two would face charges.
“Their phones were seized from the two males charged and detailed a lot of drug activity in the area,” Ldg Sen Const Murphy said.
“They were remanded and bailed to appear at court on a later date.
One man was due to face Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and the other will face Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 11 March 2015.
