Police probe home theft

POLICE are still looking for the offender who robbed a Hampton Park home last week.
The offender stole the occupant’s Volkswagen car from the Highland Avenue house, as well as $3000 worth of items including jewellery, cash, digital cameras and laptop computers between 4pm on 14 November and 11am on 15 November.
The stolen vehicle is understood to be have been found a few days later in Amberley Park Drive in Narre Warren South.
Stolen registration plates, electrical equipment, a motorbike helmet and a Nike bag containing various tools were found inside the car.
