Three-vehicle crash

A CRANBOURNE truck driver was left uninjured after a three-vehicle crash in Hastings this morning (Friday).
But a four-year-old Balnarring girl has been airlifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital and is in a critical condition, while a 42-year-old Balnarring woman has been taken by ambulance to Frankston Hospital with minor injuries.
It’s believed a sedan was travelling West along Coolstores Road about 9.15am when it hit a northbound Volkswagen Kombi travelling on the Frankston-Flinders Road, driven by the Balnarring woman.
The Volkswagen was flipped on its side in the collision and slid across the southbound lanes before it was hit by a truck.
The 56-year-old Cranbourne truck driver and a 64-year-old Merrick man, who was driving the sedan, were not injured.
The Hastings Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
