When the rain comes down

WHEN rain hit Casey Fields on Saturday there was just one thing to do for the Cranbourne DDCA Turf 1 side… get the cards out! The Eagles replaced day one of their clash against North Dandenong with a game of stud poker and gun-recruit Steve Spoljaric (left) showed he is not only a master at wielding willow, but pretty handy at shuffling a deck as well. Former Pakenham star, and now ICON Sports guru, Ben Maroney, also looked pretty comfortable and headed for a long day. Cranbourne and North Dandenong will now square off in a one dayer at Casey Fields this Saturday. 130008 and 130190 Pictures: STEWART CHAMBERS
