Lambert were behind early but fought back, and only lost one end after lunch to win 17-11.

On Friday, the third round of the Casey Bowls District over-60s was played at Cranbourne RSL where Neville Hendrie and Geoff Ampt were playing for spots in the semi-finals.
Hendrie lost 7-21, but Ampt ramped things up and won 21-8 to advance to Sunday’s semi-final.
Sunday was semi-final day for both singles and pairs.
Hampton Park was represented in both with Ian Bartlett and John Nunan in the pairs and Geoff Ampt in the singles.
Ampt had an excellent semi-final, scoring double figures before his opponent was on the scoreboard. In the final, scores were fairly even until mid-game and Geoff was able to surge to the front and win 21-13.
In the morning semi-final, Bartlett and Nunan had a convincing win. This set up another Hampton Park v Narre Warren clash. The pairs were a great game. Needing three on the last end, Bartlett and Nunan could only manage two. In the extra end the Narre pair scored a two to win 15-13.
