CRANBOURNE Secondary College students laid a wreath and stopped to remember the efforts by Australian men and women during the World War I battle on the beaches of Gallipoli.
The mid-morning service, held last Thursday, also recognised the ultimate sacrifice made by about 8500 Australian soldiers during eight tortuous months spent on the Turkish peninsula.
