POLICE believe two burglaries on the same night in Lynbrook may be linked.
The first one occurred around 1.30am on Thursday 9 October in Hutchinson Drive.
The burglars entered an unlocked garage at the Hutchinson Drive property and attempted to take a Suzuki road bike.
The offenders were disturbed and took off over a fence without the bike before the victims could identify them.
The second burglary occurred around 6am on the same night at a house on Ranking Close.
Offenders entered the house through an open window and took car keys before stealing a late model, black Holden Commodore.
Police have urged residents to lock their garage doors and windows at all times.
Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
