A RED 1994 Mustang Coupe was completely destroyed after vandals stole the car and set it alight.
Around 11.50pm on Sunday 28 September the Mustang was stolen from the Hallam hotel and driven to Waratah Reserve, Doveton.
Police believe it would have been highly visible to other drivers along the South Gippsland Highway and Monash Freeway as the hazard lights were on the entire time.
Vandals set it alight once at the reserve where it was engulfed in flames.
