Who they’re tipping

Michael Tuck – VFL/AFL games record holder
Beaconsfield by 17 points. Cranbourne has to work hard to get there and Beacy has had the week off and will be well prepared. Beacy is in pretty good form at the right time of year.

Jeremy Bourke – AFL South-East Region General Manager
Beaconsfield by 10 points. A young and dynamic team that now has the confidence, belief and talent.

Jeff Jones – PCN Sports Alliance chief executive
Beaconsfield by 8 points. They should be the fresher of the two after a week off, I suspect they’ll suffer from nerves early but on a warm day they’ll pull away in the end.

Darryl Nisbet – Legendary premiership coach of Berwick and Cranbourne
Cranbourne by 33 in the dry or 20 in the wet. Boof has done a great job getting his boys there but Cranny is peaking at the right time with a full complement of players.

Matt O’Neil – Hampton Park coach
Beaconsfield to win by 10 points in a close one. If Beacy can nullify the supply to Holt and Theodoridis they should win. Beacy will be fresh after the week off and should run out the game stronger.

Steve O’Bryan – Pakenham coach
Cranbourne by under a goal. They have the ability to come from nowhere and win the tight ones.

Rhys Nisbet – Berwick coach
Beaconsfield by 1 point. I have to back my best mate Boofa (Clint Evans). Good luck to both clubs.

Brad ‘Tangles’ Kingsbury – Former Gazette Sports Editor
Cranbourne by 15 points. I don’t think Beacy can shut down all Cranny’s big game match winners again.

Lachie Gillespie – Tooradin coach
Beaconsfield by 6 points. Beacy are strong right across the ground and don’t have too many weaknesses. If they can control Holty and Theo they will win.

Chris Toner – Narre Warren coach
Cranbourne by 1 point. With Holty in form they are always a chance.

Brad Jones – ROC coach
Beaconsfield by 5 points. Due to its midfield domination… the game will be won in the guts. If Cranny can win the inside ball Beacy will find it hard to control their forwards. Michael Boland becomes the most important player.

Shannon Henwood – Beaconsfield coach
My tip is Cranny by 5 goals. Both teams are pretty evenly matched in the midfield and defence, but I think Cranny has more goal kicking power. Cranbourne’s best is better than Beacy’s.
