IT was the moment when it all started to sink in for Cranbourne’s Matt Rus, as Beaconsfield’s Damien Szwaja, Nick McPherson and Damien Johnston celebrate Szwaja’s last-quarter goal that sealed the 2014 Casey Cardinia league premiership. Rus, and several of his Cranbourne team-mates had seen it all before, with Saturday’s grand final loss the third in a row for the boys from Casey Fields after tasting the ultimate success in 2011.
